The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 8, 1999, p. 3 Geri Craig Hamersley of Wickenburg died December 5, 1999 of a long illness. She was 60. Mrs. Hamersley was born April 2, 1939 in Glove, Arizona. Geri was from a pioneer Arizona family. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1960 and moved to the Wickenburg area in 1966. Geri was very involved in the community through her Chamber of Commerce activities, especially the Bluegrass Festival. She also maintained her lifelong commitment to youth and education through her participation in 4-H and the Wickenburg Foundation for Educational Enrichment. Geri is survived by her husband Stuyve Hamersley; daughter and son-in-law Kimberley Knight and Stefan Wolf of Wickenburg; son and daughter-in-law Eric and Claudia Knight of Salida, Colorado; son Scott Knight of Wickenburg; grandchildren Amberley, Ryan and Dylan; sister, Carolyn Hogeland and niece Cindy. No services will be held but donations in Geri Hamersley’s name may be made to: Hospice of the Valley, 9720 W.
