She was 88. “Grandma Angie” as she was called by everyone who knew her, was born August 11, 1911 in Barton, North Dakota and had lived in Wickenburg four years. She grew up with 11 brothers and sisters. Angie was known for her great sense of humor and cheerful attitude. She was a faithful Witness of Jehovah God and his son Christ Jesus for 50 years. She is survived by daughter Juliane and son-in-law Robert Wollin of Wickenburg; son Leon J. Rothlisberger of Northfield, Minnesota; son and daughter-in-law Robert D. and Carol Rothlisberger of Garland, Texas; sisters Florence Hay and Beatrice Williams of Yakima, Washington, Helga and brother-in-law Mark Stenson of Bellevue, Washington; brother Oscar Benson of Appleton, Minnesota; grandchildren Faith Stephens, Jocelyn Staffason, Hope Smith, Joy Seitz, Terry Rothlisberger, Lis Misterek, Angela Riggs and Bobbie Hartley; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Wednesday, December 1, 1999 at 7 p.m. at the Wickenburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
