The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 15, 1999, p. 3 Homer Waldrip of Peeples Valley died December 11 in Peeples Valley. He was 78. Mr. Waldrip was born September 12, 1921 in Quawah, Texas. He had lived in Arizona for the past 14 years. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Waldrip of Peeples Valley, daughters Judy Holtz of Yuba City, California, Jancis Smith of Stockton, California, Dorra Prece of Delhi, California, Barbara Dowuns of Venita, Oklahoma, Christen Cason of Jefferson, Oregon and Diana Foster of Wiltor, California; son John Downs of Blythe, California; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, at Frey Funeral Home. Services will follow at 1 p.m. also at the funeral home. Pastor Wayne Hawley will officiate. Burial will be in Genung Memorial Cemetery in Peeples Valley.
