Gordon LaVar Cluff, age 68, passed away June 30, 2003.
Gordon was born December 13, 1934 in Pima, Arizona.
He retired from ASU as professor emeritus after 31 of years of teaching. Gordon's life was filled with service to his family, church and community.
His family and friends will always remember him as a great teacher. He taught them faith, love, determination, service and sacrifice by the way he lived his life.
His wife, of 42 years, Patricia Cluff, and 6 children Nolan (Jane), Cheri (Darl Edington), Sheli (David Van Gieson), Denby (Tracy), Jared (Heather) and Kati survives him.
He was preceeded in death by his Alan (Kim). He also was a very loving grandfather to his 15 grandchildren.
The viewing and funeral services will be held June 5th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1881 E. Del Rio Drive, Tempe, Arizona.
The viewing will be at 10:00 A.M. with the service starting at 11:00 A.M.
Interment will be at the East Rest Haven Cemetery.
