The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 2, 1997 Dan G. Moran of Circle City, died June 30 in Phoenix. He was 67. Mr. Moran was born March 2, 1930 in Blaine, Kan. He had lived in Arizona for the past 37 years. Survivors include his companion, Mary Gallagher of Circle City; sisters Marie MrCormick of Albuquerque, N.M. and Patricia Harrington of Blaine, Kan.; several nieces and nephews; and Mary Gallagher’s daughter Stephanie Lisberg, and grandson Christopher of Phoenix. Visitation will be in the Wickenburg Funeral Home chapel at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday). Rosary will be Thursday, July 3 at Kufahl Funeral Home in Wheaton, Kan. Funeral services will follow ob Friday, July 4 at St. Columbkille’s Catholic Church. Fr. Jude Burcach, OSB, will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Pottawatomie, Kan. He had lived in Arizona for the past 37 years. Mr. Moran was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. A recipient of the Purple Heart, he was wounded in battle and spent one year in a Japanese hospital before coming home. Mr. Moran was a member of the American Legion Post 12, Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans, 3rd degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of the St. Columbkille’s Catholic Church in Blaine, Kan. Survivors include his companion, Mary Gallagher of Circle City; sisters Marie MrCormick of Albuquerque, N.M. and Patricia Harrington of Blaine, Kan.; several nieces and nephews; and Mary Gallagher’s daughter Stephanie Lisberg, and grandson Christopher of Phoenix.
