The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 2, 1997 Frank H. Whittemore of Wickenburg died June 26 in Wickenburg. He was 86. Mr. Whittemore was born March 10, 1911 in New Haven, Conn. He had lived in Arizona for the past eight years. He had graduated from Yale in 1935. Survivors include his wife, Naoma G., of Wickenburg; daughters Valerie O’Hara of Nevada City, Calif., and Gale Baccaglini of La Jolla, Calif.; stepdaughters Susan Hanaman of La Quinta, Calif., and Wyn Engelhardt of Longmont, Colo.; sons Ridgeway and Robertson, both of La Jolla; and a brother, E. Reed Whittemore of College Park, Md. 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his twin Richard earlier this year.
