James C. Spriggs of Aguila, died June 30 in Aguila. He was 74. Mr. Spriggs was born Feb. 11, 1924 in Scioto County, Ohio. He had lived in Arizona for the past 11 years. 

Survivors include his wife, Catherine; daughter Linda K. Spriggs; sons James D., Phillip L., and Keith L.; sister Ruth DeWitte; three grandchildren; one niece; and three nephews.

Privates services have been held.
