VOLZ, Henry Theodore

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, November 9, 2005 Henry Theodore Volz, Jr., died Nov. 4, 2005, at Prescott Samaritan Village. He was born May 17, 1918, the son of Henry Theodore and Laura (Creedon) Volz, Sr. Henry was 87 years old. Henry retired in 1975 as the traffic manager and shipping foreman for the L.G. Doup Company in Omaha, Neb. He with his wife, Philomena, moved to Sun City in 1975 and then to the Prescott County Club in 1988. Philomena preceded Henry in death in 1991. Henry serviced in the United States Army during WWII. A celebration of Henry's life will be at 10 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Apostolic Christian Church, 5675 Foxglove Place, Prescott. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha, Neb. The Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
