G. Wayne Young of Wickenburg, died Aug. 24 in Phoenix. He was 72.

Mr. Young was born Sept. 4, 1924 in Knoxville, Tenn. He had lived in Arizona for the past 55 years.

Survivors include his wife, Billie D. Young of Wickenburg; daughter and son-in-law Jeannie and Thomas Coulter of Roll, and daughter and son-in-law Diane and Steve Huley of Lancaster, Calif.; son Harold B. Young of Seattle, Wash.; brothers Bruce, Ellis, Richard and Glen Young; sister Juanita Hamzey; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Aug 27) at Johnson Mortuary in Yuma. Pastor Charlie Tague will officiate, with burial following in Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Yuma.
