Arthur Joseph (AJ) Pellerin, 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 06, 2011, at his home in Lake Havasu City. He was born on Oct. 11, 1924, in Worcester, Mass., to Ernest and Eva Pellerin.
Retired chief gunner's mate, Arthur Joseph(AJ) Pellerin weathered three wars, typhoons and the shock waves of two atomic-bomb tests at sea, and ended up half deaf from the many shells he launched. AJ line-danced with his wife, Dolores, hugged and kissed her every day, treated her like a queen and shared with her his passion for clamming, crabbing and roaming the Pacific Northwest. AJ revered the flag, babied his RV and savored his afternoon martini. This generous and happy man will be missed by all who loved him.
A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, from 10 a.m. to noon at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel. All are welcome. Military Honors will be presented by the Marine Corps League.
