Xenia L. Kettledon of Wickenburg died Oct. 10 in Sun City. She was 66.
Mrs. Kettledon was born March 1, 1931 in West Hartford, Conn. She had lived in Arizona for the past five years.
Mrs. Kettledon was born to Rusco and Mrya Long. She graduated from the Chaffee-Loomis School and attended Skidmore College.
While residing in Connecticut, Mrs. Kettledon was a member of the Board of Governors of the Niantic Bay Yacht Club, Vice President of the E. C. W. of St. John’s Episcopal Church of Niantic, Con. She also was on the building committee of St. John’s Church.
Mrs. Kettledon also serviced as vice president of the New London Chapter of the Connecticut Association of Medical Assistants.
While residing in South Dakota, she was the president of the E. C. B. of the Church of the Holy Apostles in Sioux Falls.
Mrs. Kettledon also was the parish secretary of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Wickenburg and volunteered many hours at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Lisa Wyllie Kettledon Green and David of Aberdeen, S. D.; grandchildren Michael Curtis, heather green and Jesse Green; great-grandson Jesse Alan Curtis; brother and wife Russ and Vetra Long of Wickenburg; aunt Gertrude Leah Long of New York City, N. Y.; and several nieces and nephews, all of Connecticut.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Hill Wyllie in 1955, and her second husband, Alan F. Kettledon in 1985.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 16) in St. Albin Episcopal Church. The Rev. John A. Smart will officiate.
Cremains will be interred in the Kettledon Family Plot in West Hartford, Conn., at a later date.
