GOBBLE, John Glenn

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ October 29, 1997 John Glenn Gobble, Sr. of San Diego, Calif. and a former Wickenburg winter resident, died Oct. 24. He was 72. Mr. Gobble was born Sept. 16, 1925 in Glendale. He was a 54-year resident of San Diego and a lifetime member of the American legion in Wickenburg. Survivors include his wife, Alyce, of Spring Valley, Calif.; son John Glenn Gobble, Jr. of Jamul, Calif.; brothers Bill Gobble of San Diego and Robert Scott of San Marcos, Calif.; sister Jo Ann Lindsey of Spring Valley; and granddaughter Dana Marie Gobble, of Jamul. Memorial services will be Saturday, Nov. 1, in Spring Valley.
