COOK, Oren P. (Perk)


The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ December 3, 1997 Oren P. “Perk” Cook, a winter resident of Congress, died Nov. 26 at the VA Medical Center in Prescott. Mr. Cook was born Dec. 14, 1928 in Centralia, Wash. He was a winter resident at the Escapees (SKP's RV North Ranch near Congress, and was a volunteer “Rainbow Builder” there. He also lived at the Escapees Dream Catch in New Mexico. Survivors include his wife, Nola; three sisters, Nina May Graves of Salem, Ore., Louis Thornton of Madras, Ore., and Alice Chambers of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews in Oregon, Idaho, Colorado and Florida. Services have been held.
