John “Walter” Weaver of Congress, died Dec. 21 in Prescott. He was 76.

Mr. Weaver was born March 9, 1921 in Portland, Ore. He has lived in Arizona for the past five years, coming from Oregon.

Survivors include his wife, Lois, of Congress; sisters Lenore Amelia Spaulding of Ranier, Ore., Lucile Elizabeth Peer of Boring, Ore., and Dorothy Bernice Hart of Milwaukie, Ore.; and a brother, James Wiltshire Weaver of Oregon City, Ore.
