Jack Pyron, 84, of Lakeside died peacefully at his home April 1, 2011. He was born Dec. 25, 1926, in Dallas, Texas.
Jack grew up in Southern California. After returning from service in the US Navy, he met and married Ila Marie Davis in 1947. After raising four children and completing a successful career as owner of Jack Pyron Tree Service, he and Marie moved to Lakeside in 1982. In his retirement years, Jack especially enjoyed his family, involvement in church, travel and volunteer service at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center.
Jack is survived by his devoted wife, Marie; three sons: Christopher Pyron (Pat), David Pyron (Trish), and Matthew Pyron (Jennifer); daughter Debra McDaniel (Pat); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial servce will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at First Baptist Church of Pinetop, 1901 E. White Mountain Blvd. in Pinetop with Rev. Coy Brewer officiating.
In appreciation of the wonderful care provided by its members, the family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Hospice Compassus, 1789 W. Commerce, Lakeside, AZ 85929.
