MAHONEY, Robert (Bob) Paul


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, April 12, 2011 Robert "Bob" Paul Mahoney, age 79, passed away peacefully in his home in Prescott, Ariz., on April 8, 2011. He was born on May 3, 1931, in Camden, Mo., to Paul Revere and Geraldine (Fogle) Mahoney. Bob attended Diagonal Community School and then joined the Air Force. He was a radar operator and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1979. Bob enjoyed flying, he was a private pilot and he loved motorcycles. Bob is survived by his son, Rob Mahoney; granddaughters Megan, Erin and Caitlin; sister Peggy Mahoney; brothers Stephen Rief, Randall Rief and Willis Rief. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Ariz. The family suggests that donations be made in Bob's memory to ASPCA, attn: Linda Tiramani, 520 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10018. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
