Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, April 13, 2011 Verlean Sally Boston Olives, age 97 of Globe, Ariz., passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, with her family at her side at Faubush Family Home in Globe. She was born in Black, Ala. on Dec. 14, 1913, the daughter of Lula May (Osborne) and Crawford Johnson Saye. Sally came to Miami in 1927 and married Paul Boston in 1930. Sally was a homemaker and mother of two children. Sally enjoyed camping with her family in the Sierra Ancha’s and White Mountains. She loved her church family, and her hobbies included crocheting and ceramics. She was preceded in death by husbands, Paul Boston and Bob Olives, and her son, Patrick Boston. Sally leaves behind in loving memory one brother, Jack Saye; one daughter, Kathy Pastor; her husband, Bob; one step daughter, Marian Winkowski; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church, 980 Live Oak Street, Miami, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for Verlean Sally Boston Olives were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
