COOPER, Barbara A.

Barbara A. Cooper, 77, of Florence died Dec. 18, 2003 at home. Mrs. Cooper was born Feb. 20, 1926 in Eagle, Neb. She moved to Arizona in the late 1950s and was a bank manager. She enjoyed supporting children's programs, especially 4-H and the church youth group at First Presbyterian Church in Florence. In later years she enjoyed golf, and she served as president of the local garden club. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three sons, Richard Manners of Phoenix, Larry Smith of Coolidge and Clifford Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a stepson, Eddie Cooper of Scottsdale; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Cooper. No service is planned immediately. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
