Garland Lanier Smith, 84, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away June 29, 2003. 

He served in the US Army in WW-II from 1942-45. 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, at 10 a.m. at the family plot in Boonsboro, Md. 

Memorial contributions in Garland's name may be made to the Arizona Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 315 S. 48th St., Suite 101, Tempe, AZ 85281.
