Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Thursday, April 14, 2011 Bernyce Elaine Zumstein, 83, formerly of Flagstaff, died April 10, 2011 at her home in Peoria. Mrs. Zumstein worked many years as a grocery cashier for AJ Bayless, Safeway and El Rancho markets prior to her retirement. In her retirement, she enjoyed cooking, gardening and making afghans, blankets and hats for her family and others. Mrs. Zumstein is survived by her son, Jerry (Kaye) of Proyer, Okla.; daughter Judy Hutson Richeson (Bruce) of Peoria; sisters Evelyn Trussell and Shirley Harmon; 13 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston, and sons Tommy and Ronald. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Norvel Owens Mortuary in Flagstaff, with a visitation one hour prior.
