DANISON, Grace M.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, July 6, 2003 Grace Evans Danison, was born May 19, 1927, in Deshler, OH, and passed away peacefully on June 25, 2003. She is survived by her husband Wayne of 55 years, children Mark (Sandra), New Kensington, PA, Neal (Bonnie), Indianapolis, IN, Nancy Ortega (Jeff), Glendale, AZ, seven grandchildren and two sisters, Julia Ross, Sarasota, FL and Mary Davis, Lima, OH. Her son Lee preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Grover Hill High School, Grover Hill, OH. Following graduation from Ohio State University in Education, she taught high school at Sugar Grove, OH. Grace gave unselfishly of her time as past president of PTA, den mother, Girl Scout leader, and was active in many church functions. After moving to Surprise, AZ in 1985, she volunteered at Surprise Elementary School for 10 years. She was an avid reader, loved sewing and had a great passion for crossword puzzles. She will be sadly missed by family members and friends. Memorial services will be held at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Boulevard, Sun City, AZ on Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at 11:00 am.
