The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, July 6, 2003 George H. Mitchell, 81, passed away July 2, 2003 in Phoenix, - AZ. He is survived by a son George W. Mitchell (Marlene) of Scottsdale, 3 grandchildren; Benjamin Mitchell (Aimme) of Glendale, AZ, also Candace and Jorden Mitchell of Scottsdale, and a brother Jack D. Mitchell of Scottsdale, and a brother Jack D. Mitchell of Omaha, NE. George retired in 1986 after 30 years with International Longshoreman's Union, Local 63. He was also a member of the Los Angeles Harbor Lodge #332, F & A.M. Masonic Graveside Services will be held Monday, July 7, 2:00 P.M. at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Arrangements by Shadow Mountain Mortuary in Phoenix.
