Steven J. Bankowski, 44, of Peoria, passed away July 3, 2003. 

He was born April 13, 1959 in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Steve was a loving son, bro-ther, husband and father and a dedicated fire fighter for 24 years. 

His greatest love was his children and family. He was preceded in death by his fath-er Donald Bankowski. Sur-vivors include his wife Renni, his children LaChelle, Justin, Austin, Dustin and Alexis, his mother Phyllis Thomas, stepfathers Ken Martin and Jerry Thomas, brother Don Bankow-ski, sister Dorothy Martin, niece Stacie Jackson, and nephews Jason Bankowski and Kaiden and Breckin Morton. 

Visitation is Tuesday, July 8, from 5:00-8:00 PM, A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phx. 

Funeral Services is 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 9, 2003, Ss. Simon and Jude Cath-edral, 6351 N. 27th Ave., Phx.
