David William Carrasco went home to our Lord on April 9, 2011. He was the loving son of David Carrasco of West Covina, Calif., and Jennifer Maddox of Lake Havasu City, born on April 27, 1978, in West Covina, Calif.
David made Lake Havasu his home for the past 13 years. He worked for Rodger and Jane Finney at Finney’s Powder Coating and Plastics. David at one time raced a boat for Rodger and loved every minute of it. David loved to be out on the lake fishing and boating. When he was not on the lake, you would find him riding quads or hanging out with his friends in the car club “Unfadeable Illuzions” for which he was sergeant at arms. He was a loving companion to his fiancée Melanie Michaud and his stepson, Deven Michaud.
David is survived by his father, David, and Stepmother Polly, his mother Jennifer and Stepfather Rick Maddox; sister Lena Carrasco; stepsisters, Tammy, Lisa and Brandy; stepbrothers Scott, Rick Jr. and Clyde; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his fiancée Melanie and stepson Deven.
David loved his family and friends. He always was there to help out when any of them would ask. David will be deeply missed by all. We will miss his beautiful smile, great sense of humor and loving heart. Until we meet again in our heavenly home.
David did not want any services, he wanted everyone to celebrate his life with a party down by the water, so on April 23, 2011, at 10 a.m., bring your beach chairs and ice chest to London Bridge Beach (also known as State Beach), Cabana’s 8 and 9. Everyone can come and celebrate David’s love for life and share their memories and good times that you have had with him then.
Thoughts and condolences can be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
