Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, April 16, 2011 - Edward John Hoffmeister Apr. 21, 1927 - Jan. 11, 2011 Edward John Hoffmeister passed away Jan. 11, 2011, at his residence in Lake Havasu City. “Jack,” as he was known to his family and friends, made Lake Havasu his home in 1992 from Huntington Beach, Calif. He was loved by everyone because he was so nice and mild-mannered. Jack leaves behind his life partner, Michael Baszanda; niece, Denham Grearson and her husband, Lloyd, and grandniece, Glory Lena and her husband, Christopher, and their children, Avery and Peter. A celebration of Jack’s life will be held on April 21, 2011, 11 a.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405. Thoughts and condolences can be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com. Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
