The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 29, 1965 B. Davenport Summoned Wickenburg Elks Lodge conducted funeral services last Saturday afternoon at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Bert Davenport, widely known resident of Wickenburg for the past 16 years, who passed away April 22 in Community Hospital He had long been in ill health. A native of Denver, Colo., where he was born September 15, 1909, Mr Davenport engaged in mining there and also as a restaurant operator. He followed the latter profession here at the Pepperwood Canyon Supper Club for a number of years. He is survived by the widow Eileen and two sons, Don of Conifer, Colo., and Bill of Tarpon Springs, Fla. Also four grandsons. Cremation followed the funeral services here.
