The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 3, 1965 Sam Stanley Rites Monday Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Monday in the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Sam M. Stanley, well known Aguila businessman, who passed away June 17 In Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix. The Rev. Dan Gerrard, Rector of St. Alban's Episcopal Church officiated and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr Stanley, who had owned and operated the Tennessee Trading Post in Aguila for many years, was 69 years of age. He was a native of Nashville, Tenn., and came to Arizona in 1947. He was a 33rd Degree Mason. Surviving are the widow; a daughter Nellie Rouse, Glendale, Ariz., and two brothers W. M. Stanley and M. P: Stanley both of Nashville.
