The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ September 30, 1965 E. A. Colburn Funeral Here Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. Saturday September 25 at the Wickenburg Funeral Home for Ernest A. Colburn, Jr., widely known in mining circles m this community and a former resident here and in Congress, who passed away in the Prescott Community Hospital September 23. Mr Colburn, a mining engineer, was an Arizona resident for 31 years. He at one time owned the Congress Mine. A resident of Wickenburg for 10 years, he moved to Clarkdale, Ariz., two years ago following the death of his wife. He was born September 5, 1882 in Colorado Springs, Colo. The Rev. Bert Follmar of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating at the funeral services and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs: Shirley DuBois, Mrs Betty Williams and Mrs Doris Chilson, all of Clarkdale, and Mrs Ruth Wilhoit of Berkeley, Calif.
