Simpson Rites Monday Funeral services were held in the Wickenburg Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday for Richard Lorenzo Simpson, a resident of Salome for the past 24 years who passed away October 21 in Yuma. He had long been in ill health. The Rev. Dan Gerrard, Rector of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church officiated and burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Simpson was born April 17, 1899 in Ainslee, Neb., and moved to Kalispell, Mont., in 1910 and to Arizona in 1940. Surviving are the widow Martha Ida; a daughter Mrs. Peter H. Miranda of Burbank, Calif., five sisters and three brothers, all living out of state. Three grandchildren also survive.
