Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Wednesday, April 20, 2011 - Kyle Wayne Harvey passed away April 17, 2011, in Lake Havasu City, at age 18. He was born Oct. 19, 1992, in Des Moines, Iowa. “Ky” as he was known to his family and friends, became a member of the Smith’s Grocery store family eight months ago. He had a great laugh and gave great hugs. He attended Havasupai Elementary, Daytona Middle School and Lake Havasu High School. Kyle was a very loving son, brother, grandson and nephew. Kyle loved playing soccer and baseball. He was an avid video gamer and movie buff, a die-hard Suns fan and die-hard Diamondbacks fan. He was also a member of the Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic church. Kyle will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Kyle leaves behind his beloved family: parents, Gary Wayne Harvey and Alison Carrie Post, of Lake Havasu City; two sisters, Kristina and Sarah, both of Lake Havasu; grandmother, Chris Jones; great-grandmother, Erma Rogalla, both of Lake Havasu; uncles John, Shannon and his wife, Terry, and Kevin and his wife, Linda, and their family; four aunts, Amy and her husband, Greg, Janet and her husband, Kenny, and their family, Carol and her husband, Kenny, and their family, and Rosie and her family; two cousins, Tyler and Travis Post; and his best friend, Josh Davis. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Post; and grandparents, Edward and Patricia Harvey. A scripture service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
