NEW, John Joseph

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Saturday, April 26, 2008 John Joseph New, 82, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, in Flagstaff, after a short illness. Mr. New was born July 21, 1925, in Fort Lee, N.J. On Aug. 9, 1952, he married Rose C. DiCicco, and they had four children. They raised their children in Bergenfield, N.J., where they lived until 1992. Upon retirement in 1993, Mr. and Mrs. New moved to Flagstaff to enjoy their retirement. Mr. New is survived by his loving wife, Rose C. New; children Patricia A. New-Jenkins (Patrick), John J. New Jr., Janet C. Battersby (Ron), and Kathleen M. Citino; seven grandchildren; his sister, Rosemary Wade; and brother, Donald New.
