Major John Arnoldin, age 75, was born Oct. 31, 1935, to John and Hennrietta Arnoldin in Atlas, Pa. He graduated high school in Mount Carmel in Pennsylvania, and graduated college from Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburgh, Md. John went home to our heavenly Father Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
In September of 1957, John married Sally Henninger. They were blessed with three loving children, Theresa, Mark and Joseph. John and Sally have been residents of Kingman for 19 years; they moved here from Yuma, Ariz.
John was a retired officer from the United States Army where he served in the Medical Service Corps. He also is retired from Kingman Regional Medical Center as a medical technologist in the laboratory. John was the commander of the Disabled American Veterans, a very active member of the Kingman Elks Lodge, and a member of the VFW.
John is survived by his wife, Sally Arnoldin; sister, Elizabeth Sassoni; children, Theresa Arnoldin, Mark Arnoldin and Joseph Arnoldin; grandchildren, Erin Gregston, Aimee Deloze, Andrea Arnoldin, Brandon Gregston and Cortnee Arnoldin; as well as six great-grandchildren.
Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
