SLOTTEN, Daryl Keith


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, July 8, 2003 Daryl Keith Slotten, 50 passed away at John C. Lincoln Hospital June 30, 2003 after suffering a heart attack. Daryl was born June 13, 1953 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He moved to Phoenix in 1969 with his parents Emil and Doris Slotten. He graduated in 1971 from Sunnyslope High School and became employed at Motorola. Daryl was injured in a pedestrian accident in July 1989 and was unable to work after that time. He is survived by daughter Kresta (Dave) Book, Queen Creek, AZ, Sara Slotten, Chandler, AZ, Amy Cox, Boston, Mass., son Daniel, Phoenix, AZ. 2 granddaughters, Lillian and Willow Book. Mother Doris Slotten, Phoenix, brother Randy (Audrey), Fort Dodge, Iowa and several aunts, uncles and cousins. His estranged wife Debra. His father proceeds him in death. Upon Daryl's wishes his body was donated to the International Institute for the Advancement of Medicine and no services were held. He will be greatly missed by family and many friends.
