Kyle Michael O'Banion was a fun-loving, carefree, generous and kind-hearted young man devoted to his family, work and friends. He lived life, not on the sidelines or as a spectator, but as a true player, enjoying every moment to the fullest.
He went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2011, in Belton, Texas, where he worked as lead foreman for Midwest Drywall, the largest company in the United States, a career he not only loved but excelled at.
Kyle was born in Las Vegas on Oct. 30, 1987.
He is survived by his loving mother, Laura, stepfather Robert Gluschenko, and younger brother Robbie; his steadfast father and best friend, Don O'Banion Jr. and step-mom Sherri; his oldest brother, Donald III and Amber O'Banion and nephew Landon Michael; his giving grandparents, Harold and Joyce Ewing; and great-nana Tootie Ewing. Also, his beloved uncle, Keith Ewing, with cousins Elizabeth and Jacob; his beloved Uncle Fonzi and Michelle Ewing, with nephews Ezekiel and Stephen; brothers Scott and Melissa Sullivan with nephews Conner and Liem Shane Sullivan and Tanya with nephew Kayden and niece Kambria; Shawn Imhoff and sister Shay Lunne Imoff; his uncle Daniel and Heather O'Banion; and his aunts Doreen and Cornia O'Banion. He was also survived by numerous cousins, friends and extended family.
Kyle was born, as we all were, with a purpose and as a gift from God. His smile and enthusiastic love for life will carry throughout all of time in our hearts and in our memories. Although we miss Kyle, we rejoice knowing that in just a little while we, too, will be with our Heavenly Father.
Along with Christ welcoming Kyle home are his grandparents, Don Sr. and Diana O'Banion with son Duane, and great-grandma June Chance along with the great cloud of witnesses who are encouraging us all to keep walking in the light of God's word.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Dr. Olsen's office, Advanced Ankle and Foot.
