The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, AZ Tuesday, April 26, 2011 Charles E. Hill, 94 of Sedona, passed away on April 25, 2011. He was born on May 16, 1916 in Salina, Kansas to Charles A. Hill and Josephine Frietz. Charles was a seaman in the Navy during WWII. He worked as a defense systems engineer. He was a great trap shooter and loved to fly. Charles was the best father ever. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Esther. He is survived by sons Marc Hill (Ruth) of Cottonwood and Charles Major Hill (Barbara) of Oakland, CA. There are no public services planned.
