Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, April 27, 2011 Peter Russell Page, age 66 of Miami, Ariz. passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Globe, Ariz. He was born in Southampton, England on Feb. 11, 1945, the son of Cissie and Bert Page. Peter was educated in Southampton, England and served a five-year apprenticeship and was qualified as a mechanical engineer. This led to him owning and running a classic bike repair shop with his oldest friend Larry Eriksen. Peter came to America in 1992 and toured the country on a motorcycle with his old friend Alan. Peter never went home and made the U.S.A. his home. After a chance meeting with Jim Wittstruck, who was in need of a bike mechanic, Peter ended up doing what he loved best, repairing and restoring motor cycles in Globe. This is where he met Dana, his wife of 17 years. With Dana’s blessing he took over the running of Livingston’s in 2000, where he worked until March 2011. Peter was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by everyone. Now on the biggest ride of his life.
