PERALTA, Barbara Ruth

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, AZ Wednesday, April 27, 2011 Barbara Ruth Puhara Peralta, age 59, passed away at Oro Valley Hospital on Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was born March 8, 1952, in Globe, Ariz. to Norma Jewel and Mitchell Puhara. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She moved to San Manuel in 1956 where she attended grade school and high school. After high school she moved to Oracle. Her pride and joy were her daughter, Kathy, and grandchildren, Cheyenne and Jordan. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and reading. Survivors include her daughter Kathy Peralta; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Jordan Peralta; her sisters, Shirley (Skip) Fousel, Loretta (Jim) Willams, Paula Sowers, and Charlene (John) Stanford; brother, Tim Puhara; ex-husband, Levi Peralta; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services were held on April 22, 2011 at Lamont Mortuary in Globe, Ariz. Interment followed at Pinal Cemetery.
