She was retired from Springs Industries, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Mill, the Fidelis Sunday School Class, U.M.U., Chapter No 4 of the Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxiliary, Fort Mill Senior Citizens and the XYZ Club (Westerly Hills Baptist Church).

She is survived by two sons, Ray Boone of Wittmann, and Gerald Boone of Fort Mill, SC; a brother, Curtis Wilson of Fort Mill; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren
