The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 27, 1966 Ray DeFord Rites Held In Olympia Final rites for Ray DeFord, 70, who suffered a fatal heart attack January 19 as his home here, were held in Olympia, Wash. A resident of Wickenburg for the past five years Mr DeFord was, until his retirement in 1960, employed by the McCormick Mill Co., for 33 years, first at Port Gamble, Wash, transferring to the Oakridge, Ore., plant in 1948. Surviving are his wife, Marguerite; a daughter Mrs L. J. Holcomb, Tacoma, Wash., two sons, Stewart, Oakridge, Ore., and Eugene, Port Gamble, Wash. Also three brothers and two sisters all in Washington state and eight grandchildren.
