R.E. Shull Rites Held At Whipple
Fellow members of the Wickenburg Barracks, World War I Veterans and other friends from the Morristown and Wickenburg areas attended funeral services January 19 in the Chapel of the Whipple Veterans Administration Center at Whipple for Robert E. Shull, a resident of Morristown since 1948. Mr Shull passed away January 16 at the Veterans Hospital at Whipple. Burial was in the Whipple VA Cemetery.
A native of Bridgeton, N. J. born there December 31, 1893, Mr Shull came to Arizona from St. Joseph, Mich., where he had served as supervisor of supplies for the Whirlpool Manufacturing Co., for 14 years.
In World War I he served in the 124th Field Artillery at Camp Grant, Ill.
During his residence in Morristown he served on the Morristown school district board for three years.
He is survived by his wife Eva of Morristown; a daughter Mrs Betty Mabs of Strathmore, Calif., a brother S. K. Shull of Chicago, two grandsons and one great grandson.
Attending the funeral services from here were WWI Veterans Commander Jim Ross, Past Commanders Ben Butler and Jim Todd and Adjutant Delbert Sandon.
