Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 24, 1966 Rites Monday For Mr Duncan Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday of this week for Thomas M. Duncan of Congress who passed away February 17 in the Yavapai Community Hospital, Prescott, at the age of 85. The services were held in the Congress Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Merle Heatwole of the Skull Valley Community Church and burial followed in the Congress Cemetery. A resident of Arizona for 65 years, Mr. Duncan in his early days in this state drove stagecoaches serving many of the town’s mining communities. He later was a miner and prospector in Yavapai County and held mining properties in the county for many years. Surviving are a daughter Mrs Catherine A. Hibbert of Congress and three sons, Marion G. (Buster) of Congress and Wickenburg; Irvin M. of Yosemite National Park, Calif., and Charles I. of Chico, Calif. Three grandchildren also survive.
