Payne The Masonic Lodge with which he has been affiliated for more than 50 years, had charge of graveside services at the Wickenburg Cemetery Monday afternoon of this week for William Augustus Payne, 76 year-old Morristown resident who passed away February 19 in Community Hospital The funeral services were held at 2 o’clock at the Wickenburg Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Jesse M. Neil, Jr., pastor of the Morristown Baptist Chapel. Mr. Payne had lived in Morristown since May, 1959, moving there from Loveland, Colo. A native of Holyoke, Colo., where he was born August 25, 1889 he had lived in various Wyoming communities before moving to Colorado. He is survived by the wife Lucetta Mae and five children, Wilma Bergmann and Robert D., Great falls, Mont.; William Harvey, Fairview, Wyo.; a sister, Carrie Phillips and niece Edna Wilson, both of Morristown, and brothers Jim of Wickenburg and Bernie of Big Piney, Wyo., also survive, as do 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
