Services For Mr Bromley
Arthur Ward Bromley, who passed away March 6 in Community Hospital at the age of 86, was held in high esteem in Wickenburg where he had lived since 1946. For 12 years he owned and operated the Bromley Appliance Shop on Yavapai Street across from the Legion Hall, closing that business on his retirement in 1958.
Christian Science Funeral services were conducted at the Wickenburg Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday of this week with Mrs Ethel Sams as Reader. Cremation followed.
Born April 11, 1879 in Carlton, N. Y., he came to Prescott in 1909 and was employed as an Electrical Engineer in mining operations at Walker, Humboldt and Clarkdale. In 1920 he moved to Phoenix where he was the engineer at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and later the San Carolos Hotel.
Mr Bromley was a life member of the Masonic Lodge, receiving his 60- year ribbon here in 1963.
Surviving are a son Daniel D. Bromley of Salt Lake City and two grandchildren.
