Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 14, 1966, p. 14 Rites For Mrs Boone In Iowa Mrs Home (Estella) Boone, 75 of Keokuk, Iowa, died at St. Joseph hospital in that city Sunday, March 27. Services were held Tuesday, March 29 at the Schmidt Memorial Home. Mrs Boone was born February 4, 1891 in Alexandria, Mo., and had lived in Keokuk for the past 71 years. She married Homer Boone in Keokuk on October 16, 1915, and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last October. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, the Women’s Guild, HGLD Club, the Estella Sewing Circle and Elmira Chapter No. 40 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs Boone and her husband were winter visitors in Wickenburg for many years staying at the Bridge Motel while here. They attended the Presbyterian Church and had many friends in the vicinity. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, three sons, two sisters, two brothers and seven grandchildren besides other relatives.
