Laudermilk Rites Held On Tuesday

Ira J. Loudermilk, 68, who operated streetcars and buses for the city of Phoenix for 23 years, died Friday in Community Hospital here.

Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Yarnell Community Church. Graveside services were conducted by a Masonic funeral committee.

Mr Loudermilk, born at Hornhill, Tex., moved to Phoenix in 1924. He retired from the city’s public transportation company in 1943.

Surviving are his wife, Anna; a sister, Mrs Gertrude Johnson of Phoenix; a brother, Arvin S Loudermilk of Phoenix and another brother out of state.
