John Williams of the First Presbyterian Church conducted funeral services last Saturday evening at 5 o’clock for Alfred Ball. Cremation followed. A resident of Manhattan Beach, Calif. and a guest with Mrs Ball at Remuda Ranch, he passed away April 27 n Community Hospital where he had been a patient since April 25. Mr. Ball was widely known as a wood carver. He had been a frequent guest at Remuda and this season had been at that ranch since October of last year. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two brothers, Nick of Los Angeles and Robert E., of Cape Cod, Provincetown, Mass.
