LUCK, Elmer Charles (Lucky)


Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory Wickenburg, Arizona Elmer C. Luck May 13, 1912 - April 27, 2011 Elmer Charles "Lucky" Luck was born May 13, 1912 in London, Ontario, Canada. He was raised there and attends schools there later enlisting in the Canadian Military serving as a draftsman and tank commander for some 25 years. Following his military service he moved his family to Arizona settling in the Phoenix area. He began working for Knoell Homes as a draftsman and worked with the company from 1955 until his retirement in 1978. Lucky was a people person and enjoyed being around people. He spent time at the American Legion Post in Yarnell and always enjoyed visiting and dancing with the ladies. In his younger days he was an avid sportsman and enjoyed all kinds of sports and golfing with his wife. Elmer was preceded in death by his wife Vera in 1979. and sister Velma Reid in 2006.
