The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 25, 1961 Rites In Prescott For Samuel Poteet Samuel G. Poteet, 84, died in his home in Yarnell Friday of last week. Funeral services and burial were in Prescott Tuesday. A native of Oklahoma, Mr. Poteet came to Arizona in 1907 and lived in Yarnell since 1947. He had been a ranch hand and carpenter. Surviving are the widow, Rhonda; three sons, George of Wickenburg, James of Phoenix and Tom of Sunnymead, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Jesse Livesay of Los Lunas, N.M. and Mrs. Laura Caward of Prescott; 24 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
