TAYLOR, Steven Earl


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/29/2011 Steven Earl Taylor, 69, died Saturday, April 16, 2011, at his home in Holbrook. He was born March 22, 1942, in Holbrook to Lloyd M. Taylor and Lucille (Davie) Taylor, the former proprietors of the Arizona Rancho Motel. He was mechanically inclined and inventive, able to create useful results from his own hands. Earl was an independent man from an earlier Arizona, who valued practicality and honesty. He was sensible and generous, a good neighbor with a wry, earthy humor, and an important part of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen and his brothers, Charles, and Tom. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. May 21, at the St. Johns Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled arrangements.
