GALVAN, Richard Manuel, Jr.


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/29/2011 Richard Manuel Galvan Jr. entered into rest April 26, 2011, in Canyon Day. He was born Dec. 1, 1986, in Whiteriver. Richard is survived by his father, Richard Galvan Sr.; mother, Estrellita Galvan; sisters: Estrella Galvan, Naylee Fall; son Nickalous Galvan; daughter Treshyne Burnette; fiancé Mindy Burnette; grandmothers: Arlita Fall, Aloma Lavender, Sarita Classay, Emma Fall, Dianna Loas; grandfathers: Glen Fall, Reese Loas, Vern Velasquez; godparents: George and Irma Cosay; five nieces, seven god-brothers, one god-sister; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandpa Nathaniel Fall; uncles: Darvin Fall, Ivan Kindelay; great-grandma:Sarah Baylish; and great-grandpa Joe Burnette. Richard's body will be brought home for a two-night wake at his residence (3510 Sunset St.) in Fort Apache starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 2, at the Canyon Day Miracle Church with Pastor Marvin Begay officiating. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery. Silver Creek Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
